About me

Hi, I’m Gideon, a 15-year-old potter from Albemarle County, VA. I first started my ceramics journey in 2021 at Muddigs Pottery in Waynesboro. After just a few classes, I was hooked. Now I have my own wheel and kiln at home, and I spend hours throwing pots every day I absolutely love ceramics even though I’m still fairly new to the art.

I curently attend the ceramics program at Western Albemarle high school. I currently sell my pots at Blue Ridge Bottle Shop, im also currently working to find a balance between making and selling—because once I start focusing too much on sales, it can feel like work. For me, the joy is in creating, experimenting, and continuing to grow as an artist.
